Chris Thomas - Procurement Manager

There’s a reason Lulu (Clay’s dog) hangs out in Chris’ office. He’s full of good energy, positivity and is incredibly loyal. 

As Procurement Manager, Chris purchases our stock and custom items for customers. He’s deep into the detail, nails the numbers, and is always happy to help.

Michael Calledine - Logistics Manager (Australia)

Michael Tubb - Logistics Manager (New Zealand)

Mighty Mike maims massive meals of meat (cause he used to be a butcher). Happiest when wearing his Blick bucket hat & hunting for marlin. 

If you need a pallet of Max Gel loaded onto your truck, Mike’s your man. Frequently found in the forklift - you won’t find a Logistics Manager with better banter. He takes pride in his work, gets on well with customers, and has a great sense of humour.

1970

Blick began as Australasian Diamond Tools - with a focus on manufacturing equipment for the diamond coring industry.

2005

New owners, a lot to learn, and a need to shift the business; from manufacturing, to import and distribution.

2008

New name, manufacturing side sold, and a new focus; expanding to cover all aspects of the drilling industry.

2018

Some original owners were bought out, and a new business partner was brought in.

Our new mission is to help contractors achieve success.
