Loss Swell
Used to fill and seal fractures. It can expand more than 200 times its size.
APPLICATIONS
Loss Swell is a copolymer designed specifically for lost circulation control. It is highly effective in sealing fractures and voids by expanding more than 200 times its original volume when in contact with fresh water. This environmentally safe material is ideal for drilling environments where lost circulation is a concern.
Fracture Sealing: Loss Swell is used to fill and seal fractures. As it hydrates, it effectively seals the void, preventing further fluid loss.
Caving Zones: Loss Swell can be spotted in areas prone to caving to reduce the likelihood of caving problems.
Diamond coring and HDD: Ensure the drill rod is withdrawn from the zone for treatment before using Loss Swell.

SPECIFICATIONS
Physical Appearance: White granules
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
Mix in a bucket with water or drilling mud (not in tank). Pump immediately after mixing.
Standard use: 1–2 kg/m³
Severe loss / spotting pills: 2–5 kg/m³
Hydrates within 30 minutes. Longer soak times (e.g. overnight) can improve effectiveness.
Remove drill rods from the treatment zone before pumping.
TOXICITY AND HANDLING
Handle as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions described in the Saftey Data Sheet (SDS).
PACKAGING AND STORAGE
