Torque Down

Friction reducer — reduces torque and drag on drill string and tooling.

Torque Down is a lubricant additive that reduces friction between the drill string and bore wall, lowering torque and drag. It forms a thin lubricating film on metal surfaces and bore walls, allowing smoother rotation and pullback.

Essential for long HDD shots, large-diameter bores, and any application where friction threatens to exceed rig capacity. Compatible with both bentonite and polymer fluid systems.

Key Benefits

  • Reduces torque and drag significantly
  • Forms a protective lubricating film
  • Essential for long shots and large diameters
  • Compatible with bentonite and polymer systems
