Bentonite Plug is a coarse granular sodium bentonite designed for bore sealing, abandonment plugging, and annular grouting applications. The granular format allows it to be poured or tremied into position, where it hydrates and swells to form an impermeable seal.
Used for decommissioning old bores, sealing annular spaces around casing, and creating bentonite barriers in environmental monitoring wells. Bentonite Plug meets regulatory requirements for bore abandonment in both Australia and New Zealand.
