Standard towing head
Grips inside
The Brewis Standard towing head grips internally to provide a quick and secure connection to pull PE.
The harder the eye is pulled the harder the pipe is gripped. There are no welds to break, and a drop forged eye bolt for peace of mind.
The Brewis standard towing head / duct puller provides a quick and easy way to attach a pulling eye to the end of a polyethylene pipe. There are a large range of towing heads available from 32mm to 900mm diameter.

Mudtight Gold towing head
Grips inside/outside
The Mudtight Gold towing head grips internally and externally sealing the pipe to keep it clear of debris while providing a bulletproof connection.
Designed specifically for horizontal directional drilling, the Mudtight Gold Towing Head provides a quick and easy way to attach a pulling eye to the end of a polyethylene pipe, and at the same time seal the end of the pipe to keep the inside clean. 32mm to 250mm available in stock.

Fuse on towing head

The Brewis fuse on towing head offers the best combination of security and a clean pipe. Fuse on towing heads are machined from a solid PE rod, with a stepped internal structure to accommodate SDR 9, 11 or 17.6.
The Brewis fuse on towing head is machined from solid polyethylene for high strength. They range in size from 63mm to 740mm. The fuse on heads have sealed, high tensile, drop forged eye bolts for superior attachment. They also feature a stepped design at the back for easy butt fusion to either SDR9, SDR11 or 17.6 pipe. (Other SDR's can be made to order.)

Innerduct pullers (carrots)
Grips inside
Carrot pullers offer a quick and cost effective solution for pulling small diameter duct and innerduct. Machined from steel; the pullers are chrome plated for durability, with double cutting edges that actually cut a thread into the duct. Quick and easy to install, they are available in lug or clevis style.
Cable sock
A single eye and double weave cable sock offer a strong, reliable solution for pulling small diameter pipe. Stocked for outside diameters from 16mm to 110mm.

Melfred Borzall tooling is renowned for its strength and durability. The Valu-DUB swivel range available in 4 ¼ and 10T options provides a dependable solution for pulling lighter weight pipe. Greasable bearings and a triple seal system will keep your swivel working day in and day out.
HDD swivels - heavy duty
The range of Brewis swivels are a further development of the famous Brewis heavy duty swivel. Brewis manufactures a multitude of sizes from 10 to 550 US tonne; in box to clevis, or clevis to clevis design. Each swivel uses an SKF Explorer or FAG X-Life spherical roller thrust bearing of a declared size. i.e. The 154 US Ton swivel contains a bearing with a dynamic capacity of 154 US Tons. Most swivel makers don’t declare the bearing capacity of their swivels but instead quote a figure for the strength of the supporting steelwork; this isn’t much help if the bearing has seized!
